Programs

We help children and families through a variety of programs. The Community Learning Center offers affordable tutoring to students in Pinellas and Broward counties.  In addition to our academic programs, the Center also offers programs and does projects on character education, drug prevention and human rights. We also have tutors who specialize in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), SAT prep, special needs and more!

For more information about our programs, please call our Center at (727) 441-4444.

Affordable Professional Tutoring

The Community Learning Center offers affordable professional tutoring on a sliding scale. This program makes it possible for families of all income levels to receive one-on-one academic help for their children. We work with each student to identify their learning strengths and weaknesses and then develop an individual program tailored to those needs.

Free Books for Kids Events

Each month, the Center holds a FREE Books for Kids event where we distribute hundreds of gently used books to local children in order to encourage them to read. These books are donated by families and organizations. We provide snacks, arts and crafts, face painting and we have a children’s book author attend to do a book reading for the kids. Every child may take home up to five gently-used books.
